I have retired from teaching. I am going through the kidney transplant tests. Fred still wants to give me his kidney so he will be going though the same tests. So far it is looking good as we are both blood type A. Still there is a long road ahead of us.
Oregon is beautiful this time of year. We wake up to the soft music of birds singing and the sun shineing through the cedars and pines. There is a varity of green colors mixed together along the sides of the roads with pink and white flowers cascading in and out. The skies are filled with cotton candy clouds and evening have beautiful shades of lavendars, blues and pinks with the sun blazing orange streaks like a verticle fire across the horizon; until the sun sets and layers of Prussian Blues billow in slowly. Yes we get rain but its not consistant, Yesterday a small gray cloud passed over our house and hailed on us for about 3 minutes. Then the sun shone again and dew drop decorated our grass and leaves like white Christmas lights in the afternoon.
Personally I've been on a reading binge. Mostly mystery books but some romance. Our kitty Shadow passed away and I miss her curling up next to me. Sometimes I think I can still hear her moving about and making little mew sounds. Well I always have Patches, Fred and Lisa dog and Janna's dogs and cats to pet and play with when I want. I still have my beta fish "Tron".
BTW Milea, Janna's Schnauzer had 6 pups a few weeks back and she sold all of them.
Well Japan was hit by an Earthquake and huge Sunami last month and yesterday the USA troops killed Osama Bin Laden. God Bless America forever!!
With love...Lennie Jo
