Creative Endeavors

 

    "Spring showers bring May Flowers"  so true for Oregon.  This morning a dark paynes grey cloud rush over our house and rain with hail poured out for nearly 5 hours!  Now the sun is out again and everything smells fresh and new.  Last week the winds were so bad it knocks down a few trees and caused accidents.  Weird for May.

           I am anxious for the Summer and warm nights.  My dogwood tree is in full bloom and so beautiful.  Oregon has a special GREEN it is known for this time of year.  It is actually a mix of green trees and grasses for which many people move to the north to see or visit.  The clouds are soft and billowy and there is a sweet fragrance in the air. However in the summer their are so many activities and places to visit with the kids. We want to take them everywhere.

 

      Janna, Freddie and I went to Bajio for a special Cinco de Mayo luncheon.  They have a healthy menu and it is just across the street from us.  I'll be cooking chicken enchaladas for my birthday too.

 

        As for today I think I will take a nap.  My cat Shadow is calling me to join her.
